Due to unfortunate circumstances regarding property rights the first Boys and Girls Club built for Akron was unable to be incorporated by Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Committed to the project and at the continued requests of the town’s residents, the Rural Studio returned to build a Boys and Girls Club that would qualify for membership with the national organization. A large span lamella structure covers a basketball court connects to a 1500 SF recreation space.
